Parking spot arithmetic

Rider's view over the handlebars of a Bullitt cargo bike on a Copenhagen bike lane at sunset, cars queuing on the road alongside.

This is a sample post — replace with your own writing.

One parked car occupies roughly twelve square metres of city. Twelve square metres is also: ten parked Bullitts, a generous café terrace, four cherry trees, or a small playground swing set.

Every time I lock the bike outside the supermarket, in the two-metre gap between a bin and a bench, I do this arithmetic again. The city we have is a choice. The city we could have is, too.
